Since, as I am one of the best guitarists in Seattle (and a bit selfish), I decided to make the best guitarists of all time - the Gibson Les Paul. I've always loved these guitars - the look and sound - but it was the price for this beautiful guitar, which always kept me from buying. There are many models of the Les Paul to choose, and most are in the $ 1500 and up price range. Even used, the guitars are still very high prices, but I found that the Les Paul Studio model is basically a real Les Paul with a few cosmetic differences and a lower price ($ 1100 brand new). Some people complain that Les Pauls are too heavy, and yes, my studio has a heavy slab of wood, but the seriousness is part of what gives the Les Paul its great sound. I played guitar easier, and have found that the lighter the wood, the harder it is to get good power chord heavy rock without using a distortion pedal. I save all my other guitars duty now be regulated, that I've got my Les Paul. Besides being beautiful, and with a big rock sound that's my Les Paul Studio in line, is very easy to play, and I can play with low action and no fret buzz. This is a quality guitar - it's not a piece of carp, fall apart on you, but of course it's a Gibson and Gibson has the best reputation for producing quality instruments.
